‘Fast and Furious 8’ Cara Delevingne as Villain? Release Date, Cast, Spoilers

"Fast and Furious 8" rumors predict that British model Cara Delevingne might be the latest addition to the cast.

According to Movie News Guide website, the 23-year-old British model turned actress might be the latest cast member for the highly anticipated "Fast and Furious 8." The model actress is one that is rumored to be a candidate to fill in one of the spots in the next film franchise. The rumor suggested that in the event that Delevingne will be picked, she will play the role of Vin Diesel's younger sister.

Jordana Brewster, the actress who played the role of Mia Toretto, might be out of the picture because of Paul Walker's death. Another actress who is speculated to join the gang is Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi since she is no stranger to action and fight scenes.

In a report by IB Times, after Vin Diesel confirmed that there will be a "Fast and Furious 8" many have speculated about the plot and the new cast that will join the movie. Producer of the film Neal Mortiz said that they are still working on the screenplay of the film. But Diesel posted a teaser photo with a caption that said "Toretto Tuesday." In the photo, Diesel can be seen standing face to face with Mr. Nobody who is played by actor Kurt Russell.

Cara's possible character will likely play as villain and might team up with Jason Statham who plays Deckard Shaw. Another British actress, Helen Mirren, is also reportedly joining the cast as villain.

Eva Mendes who once was part of the crew is also making a return. Nothing has been confirmed but Eva might reprise here role as Agent Monica Fuentes. According to Daily Mail, the 41-year-old actress is already in talks about her role.

In addition to making a comeback, Eva's character is rumored to team up with Diesel and Johnson's characters to take down a new villain in New York City.

So far Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, and Tyrese Gibson are the only ones sure to reprise their roles. The "Furious 7" movie - which is also considered a tribute to actor Paul Walker - grossed around $1.5 billion. It is the fourth highest grossing film of all time.

"Fast and Furious 8" is reportedly aimed for release on April 14, 2017.
