After OnePlus made their announcement that their second flagship phone, OnePlus 2 listed 30,000 units sold in just 64 seconds, after they hit the market.
According to CrossMap, for a consumer to get a hand of the elusive OnePlus 2 device, one must get an email invite and use it as a pass to purchase the device. The 30,000 OnePlus 2 phones were apparently sold in China without the invites to be able to reach that number of units, unlike in Europe and the United States wherein email invites are required. The 30,000 units were allegedly sold in the OnePlus' website prior to its actual release last August 11.

In the same post by CrossMap, a disappointed fan complained about the invite system and the fact that he was booted from 9,000th place to 70,000th place. The reason for the boot is the system's rule of being able to avoid the queue by referring friends to the registration process. Recently, OnePlus have launched a contest online that will enable a fan to get the device for free by doing the challenges enumerated in the contest details. OnePlus Two is the successor of the equally high end predecessor, the OnePlus One, that also made an impact in the market.
OnePlus Two is priced at 239euros, a rather decent price for a device that has 1920x1080 resolution HD display and a screen that is measured 5.5-inches. The OnePlus 2 flagship phone also has a 4GB Random Access Memory and uses a Snapdragon 810 power chip. Camera wise, the OnePlus 2 cameras have a 13-megapixel rear end camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. The phone is practically built with a dual SIM card and has a fingerprint sensor feature.
According to PhoneArena, OnePlus only predicted at least 100,000 units sold last year, but surpassed the figures by hitting 1 million more. This year, Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, implied that they surprised themselves by surpassing sales forecast last year, and they aim to do the same this year.
