Top seeds Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci arranged their Rogers Cup finals showdown with fourth seeds Cara Black and Sania Mirza, winning their respective matches at the women's doubles competition on Saturday.
Errani and Vinci, the Wimbledon women's doubles champions, hacked out a 7-5, 6-0 victory against sisters Chan Hao-ching and Chan Yung-jan.

The Chan sisters gave the Italians a run for their money in the first set but the Errani-Vinci tandem took advantage to break serve and take the set. In the following set, Hao and Yung were completed outclassed, as they committed unforced errors and fell out of sync.
The tandem of Hsieh Su-wei and Peng Shuai recovered after getting off to a rocky start, but it was not enough to close out Black and Mirza, who eked out a 7(7)-6(3), 3-6, 13-11 victory.
Peng and Hsieh, the French Open ladies' doubles champions, came back on the second set but lost steam going into the deciding set.
Errani and Vinci have won the Australian Open early this year and also the recent Wimbledon Championships in London. Peng and Hsieh, on the other hand, won the French Open against the Italian duo 6-4 6-1.
