Britney Spears Not Sure if Extending Her Las Vegas Residency

Britney Spears' Las Vegas residency might come to an end as the pop star admits that she is torn whether she will renew or not.

According to Entertainment Online, Britney Spears did not confirm whether she will renew her Las Vegas residency when she was asked about it during her appearance at the recently concluded Teen Choice Awards. She admitted in the interview that she is torn about it at the moment. Although she said that she loves doing the show, she doesn't really know what to do at his point.

"I haven't made up my mind. I really love doing the show. It's a lot, a lot of fun but I'm kind of torn right now. I don't really know what I want to do," Spears said.

If she refuses to renew her contact, the "Britney: Piece of Me" shows will take place from late this month to Oct. with final shows that will happen on New Year's Weekend. In previous reports, a new contract is ready on the table for her signature.

Huffington Post reported that Spears' Las Vegas residency was set to make $30 million over the course of her two year contract. She launched her residency show in Dec. 2013. The shows are said to be have been very lucrative for the 33-year-old singer.

Meanwhile, in another article by Daily Mail, Britney will also be busy filming for her TV guesting this fall. The pop star will appear in hit TV series "Jane The Virgin." Spears admitted that she is thrilled about starring in the series, which she refers to as one of her "favorite shows ever."

Aside from her, Gina Rodriguez who plays as "Jane" in the show is also ecstatic about Britney's guesting. The actress, who recently hosted the Teen Choice Awards, said that she is excited about working with Britney. In fact, she even wants to do a collaboration with the singer and record a video of them doing the dance moves from her hit single "Baby One More Time."

Apart from TV guesting, Britney is also working on new music. She revealed that she is working with "amazing writers" for her next album.

"We're having fun right now. I'm working with some women who are amazing writers. I have ballads and, of course, dance music-fun cheeky sexy stuff," said Britney.
