Oklahoma Thunder center Serge Ibaka wasted no time to troll Memphis Grizzlies guard Matt Barnes after the latter was dissed by Rihanna for insinuating they're dating.

Ibaka, who has been beefing with Barnes, savored the moment when Rihanna corrected Barnes.

Rihanna went to Instagram to clarify she's never met even Barnes and that the player's claims amount to defamation of character.

According to Larry Brown Sports, Ibaka immediately sent a couple of tweets after that. 

The first went: "Wow, Oh no lol!!"

Then Ibaka added that that's what happens if someone talks too much.

Barnes claimed he was on a feeling out stage with Rihanna when asked if he's dating the singer, Bleacher Report noted.

He explained they're friends and just got over the crush stage and that'll figure out where it will go.

Barnes added that he's not worried they would be strained by distance after the he inked a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. He pointed out that Rihanna's rich, so they'll be all right.

Barnes joined the Grizzlies this summer in a trade with the Charlotte Hornets. He last played for a Grizzlies' major rival, the Los Angeles Clippers. 

Barnes later said that all the talk about him and Rihanna are just rumors and "speculation" and they'll see where it will go.

It was not surprising that it was Ibaka who first reacted nagatively towards Barrnes.

Ibaka had  challenged Barnes to a UFC fight just last month and even gauged UFC president Dana White's  interest in setting up the fight.

This was in reaction to Barnes' comment to HBO's Max Kellerman that he and Ibaka could fight on the spot if the Thunder big man was there with him.

Barnes went on to say he dislikes Ibaka because there's an aura about the latter that he feels he's the toughest guy on the planet. 

Ibaka is much bigger and ten yearsis younger than Barnes, so that could be seen as some kind of a mismatch.
