According to Gamerant, EA Games has announced via Twitter the fourth playable character in "Star Wars Battlefront" very soon, joining the ranks of other Star Wars characters such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett.

EA Games and DICE have already showcased many game features from "Star Wars Battlefront," which includes game modes like "Supremacy," "Drop Zone," "Fighter Squadron" etc. as well as new weapons and vehicles. They also revealed that the game will not feature a single player campaign, although gamers can still play it offline with A.I. teammates. Still they have not announce a new character as of late.

It was reported before that characters like Han Solo, Chewbacca, Yoda, Qui-Gon Jun and Darth Maul are being hinted as the next character appearing in the game.

Segement Next reportedly claimed that next batch of rumored characters for "Star War Battlefront" could be Emperor Palpatine, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, Mace Windu and Starkiller.

Gamerant further hints that Rey from "Star Wars: Force Awaken" could be a possible playable character since "Star Wars Battlefront" was intended to promote the franchise alongside the Episode 7 movie.

Although "Star Wars Battlefront" was focused on the original movie trilogy having these characters such as Qui-Gon Jun, Mace Windu and Darth Maul could still a factor given their popularity amongs the fans, they will likely future DLC characters in the future.

In other news, VG 24/7 reports that Sony has revealed a Darth Vader themed PlayStation 4 console and "Star Wars Battlefront" will be recieving three sets of bundle packs.

The first bundle pack contains the standard edition of the game, along with a 500GB PS4 console and a standard black controller. The other two bundle packs are Limited Editions which will include a Darth Vader theme Dual Shock 4 controller. Players can opt for a "Star Wars Battlefront" Delux Edition or a "Disney Infinity 3.0," which features the Rise of the Empire set pack and Boba Fett figure.

The website adds that all three bundles will have a voucher for downloads which contains Star Wars classic games such as "Super Star Wars," "Star Wars: Racer Revenge," "Jedi Starfighter" and "Star Wars Bounty Hunter."

Pre-order will be open soon ahead of the game's launch date in November.


"Star Wars Battlefront" will be release on Nov. 17, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
