Fans are excited about the premiere night of "The Voice" Season 9. "The Voice 9" definitely isn't predicable as news has it that Rihanna will be joining the set of coaches as an adviser to its contestants!

From the very first season of "The Voice," the TV series has never got a hard time finding the best singers all around the US. This time, more and better aspiring singers will surely land at its door as "The Voice" season 9 will be adding Rihanna as its adviser.

The Wrap reports that Rihanna will serve as a "key advisor" to judges Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams. Though it's unclear exactly what she'll be doing, here's hoping she'll help the show find a Kelly Clarkson-level superstar, something it's been missing since its premiere in the U.S.

Remember when Rihanna appeared at the season ender of "The Voice" 3? She sang "Diamonds" at the Season 3 Finale. 

Fans of Selena Gomez can also look forward to seeing the singer/ actress on "The Voice" as one of the mentors. Her popularity might be a big help to the show since season 8 received the lowest rating among all the seasons, Christian Today noted.

It has been reported that Season 8 received the lowest TV rating that has ever been given. Rihanna together with Selena Gomez can surely do wonders for the show! NBC is hoping that the next season will receive a great difference in its ratings. The Voice coaches, Ada Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharell Williams will still be coaching the new contestants, but NBC doesn't know what went wrong during season 8.
