The movie "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" will make you think twice if all Naruto's heroism is all for a show, after the movie portrayed him as a failure when it comes to his fatherly duties.
According to Kotaku, Boruto is the son of Naruto who constantly seek the attention of his father to no avail. Naruto poses as a workaholic father who gives very little importance to family events. At times, he even sends his shadow clones to attend to these activities or a simple electronic message to express his participation in those events. His insensitive acts caused Boruto to rebel after his father plans to take matters into his own hands.

Boruto is a high willed, hot tempered son of Naruto who seeks high and low to learn the things that could possibly hurt his father. In "Boruto: Naruto The Movie," Boruto went as far as travelling to Sasuke in order to learn the techniques. Somewhere along the way, Boruto is faced with the trial of having to cheat in order to impress his father, or go on the side where he uses his own strength and techniques with the help of his friends, even at the expense of losing. Analysts, however, cited some points in the movie wherein there was no concrete story on how father and son patched up their gap as well as Boruto not being able to trust his friends. While the movie "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" displayed an incredible fight scene, it was almost concentrated on Naruto and not his Son who went out of his way to prove to his father what he can do.
"Boruto: Naruto The Movie" opened in Japan last August 7 and has already sold over 500,000 tickets. "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" credits its success in the even more successful showing of "Naruto" the movie in the past.
According to the Venture Capital Post, several of the movie scripts and still images were leaked online after it opened in Japan. The movie is set to open in the United States on October 2015.
