Recently, software developers received the latest Android M update to check on its features and now, at the recent I/O 2015 event, Google has introduced the Android 6.0 M software that is seen to be implemented on Nexus 5, Nexus 6 and Nexus 9.

According to the Ecumenical News, the Marshmallow, also known as the Android M update, is expected to take a short reign and will soon be replaced by the Android 6.0 M version. The Android 6.0 M update has three significant features and these include permission only when a certain mobile app is being accessed, a small info that informs you about a certain app content via the "Google Now on Tap," and last but not the least, the energy saving feature that allows longer battery life via the "Doze" app.

Other features that were included in the Android 6.0 M update were mostly about easy access and sharing of phone features such as integrating frequently called numbers on top of the list for easy access without having to scan over the contacts again. A mildly revamped phone dialer as well as the "Do not Disturb Mode" and access to multi window features. While there has been no specific date on the Android 6.0 M update release, according to the Android Geeks and following the path of Googles' previous launches, the update may come out in October or November this year. Along with the firmware, Nexus will eventually launch two new hardware that will supplement the integration of the Android 6.0 M update to its smartphone units.

Users who have downloaded the Android M to their units sure have seen some of the fixes made, however, the features that may be available on the upcoming Android 6.0 M will also modify their software greatly for bugs and other fixes. The automatic app data backup and restore feature has also been included in the update that regularly backs up data in the Google drive  for restoration at a later date. Backup however is limited to only 25MP per app.
