The event was held on a Saturday night at the Black Sea Port City of Sevastopol while Seagal and his band played for the bikers' show. Seagal is known for supporting Russia in taking over the peninsula of Ukraine.
Seen on the stage, it has been decorated with the Black, Blue and Red Flag of the "Donetsk People's Republic (DNR)" which is composed of rebels fighting in order to separate themselves from Ukraine.
The fans were holding both Russian and DNR flags as Seagal and his band were performing.
The whole concert was covered and featured in Russia's news agency, RIA Novosti. Seagal said in an interview that he travelled all the way to Crimea because he believes that music will unite people.
He was also quoted saying back in in March that Russian President Vladimir Putin has all the reason to protect Russians in Crimea.
Seagal also added that he considers Putin as a friend and he would like to consider him as his own brother. It was reported by the spokesman of Putin that Seagal and Putin have been friends for a long time now and that they regularly meet.
Seagal refers to Putin as one of the great living world leaders.
After the concert, RIA Novosti reported that Seagal was handed a T-shirt wherein Putin's face was printed.
He then held the T-shirt up in the air while he was thanking the crowd. Seagal was also overheard saying that he was Russian since his grandparents were originally from Russia.
Seagal is rumored to be thinking about eventually pursuing a Russian citizenship.
