Recently, it has been reported that the cast of 'Triumph in the Skies' has held the blessing ceremony of the film. The event has also been attended by their co-stars Chilam Cheung, Louis Koo, who will be playing the role of the airline owner in the drama, and Sammi Cheng who will be adding a twist in the drama as an additional character.
The 52-year old Francis Ng has returned to play the lead character of the first air pilot in Hong Kong just as he did in the drama that goes with the same title.
On the other hand, Charmaine Sheh has expressed that she will be translating the love interest of Louis Koo's character. The actress has claimed that she was having fun filming the scenes with the actor.
The recent event was also attended by Chinese-American actress and former beauty queen Fala Chen. The actress has reportedly missed the chance to star in the movie version of 'Triumph in the Skies'.
However, according to the 32-year old actress, she has been considering several movie scripts and is currently engaged in talks about starring in an upcoming film.
Fala Chen has shared that she had been catching up on a popular mainland Chinese reality show entitled 'Where are We Going Dad?'
The former beauty queen has also commented on 'Triumph in the Skies' star Francis Ng's parenting style. The actress spilled her disagreement that Francis Ng is a tough father, citing the fact that he had once brought his son to the set of the drama's sequel before.
Additionally, Francis Ng's wife is said to make an appearance on a later episode of 'Where are We Going Dad?', also confirmed by the actor, saying that his wife requested it.
The actor expressed that he personally didn't want his wife to be on camera, but she had insisted. He said that only half of his wife's face will be shown on screen.
