The Disney "Toy Story" movie series has indeed been well-loved all over the globe. If you think that the story is over, well, there is still more to be told. Years after "Toy Story 3" has been released, Disney made an announcement that Woody and his love interest will be the main plot of the "Toy Story 4."

According to CNBC, the target release of the next "Toy Story" movie will be on June 16, 2017. Disney already assigned writers and a director. Disney-Pixar still has to decide on who will voice most of the other characters. However, much of the plot has already been decided by the team.  

John Lasseter, Disney's Chief creative officer, recently confirmed to US Magazine that Tom Hanks will still be voicing Woody, the toy cowboy. In "Toy Story 4," we will be getting to know Bo Peep, the nursery rhyme doll and Woody's lady love. 

The next "Toy Story" installment is particularly special for Lasseter, as the character of Bo Peep reminds him of his own wife, Nancy. He revealed that some parts of the story has been based on Nancy's life. Lasseter thinks that it would be nice for people to reveal the back story of Bo Peep.

"The character of Bo Peep, in the previous films remind me of Nancy in so many ways. My wife Nancy has an incredible emotional story before I met her, so to me, this is a very personal story--as is every film at Pixar. But this is the most special for me. It's a very touching story that's inspired by my love for my wife," explained Lasseter in his CNBC interview.

Anne Potts will be voicing Bo Peep. Tim Allen will be voicing Buzz Lightyear. Since the movie will be released on June 2017, there are still a lot of detailed about it that have not been revealed by Pixar and Disney.
