At the recent E3 event, Square Enix announced that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be available on iOS but no specific date was disclosed.

According to Gamespot, the critically acclaimed "Final Fantasy 7" has been the recipient of a remake because of the popularity it brought to its fans during its tenure. Carefully revamped from its PC version, Square Enix made the necessary adjustments so the game would integrate perfectly with its iOS partnership. The touchscreen feature of iOS has been one of the most intricate parts on the integration, yet Square Enix made it possible. The "Final Fantasy VII" iOS version is being sold for $16 at the App iOS Store.

While the gameplay is said to have been remade and assuming Square Enix made some changes, according to Gamespot, its iOS version actually displays the same former "Final Fantasy 7" game, wherein "No changes or additions have been made to the story."

The thing that made the game different from the old version is its ability to disable enemy warfare, instead leads you to engage in combats that would readily track you to the main storyline. The iOS version of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake also has a cheat sheet that enables you to be the most powerful combatant in the gameplay in just an instant. Square Enix was also kind enough to create a "Final Fantasy Portal app" that will feature some updates and news about the game. The portal is made available for both iOS and Android users.

According to Gamerant, "Final Fantasy VII" is following the footsteps of the "Final Fantasy" series I-VI, wherein they all have been integrated to the mobile service. The remake of the "Final Fantasy VII" that is readily made available on iOS will give its fans the opportunity to play the game in the absence of PC and other gaming consoles. The ability to play the game whether on iPhone or any Apple device on the go is another milestone for the famed "Final Fantasy VII" remake.
