(Photo : Reuters) Galaxy Note 5 users has raised some questions as AT&T and Verizon disallows rooting on these devices.
Previous issues about the Samsung flagship phones included pre installed applications that some users find very annoying. While users have the option to hide these apps, there was no assurance that they can be uninstalled, which raised the questions whether they still use some battery while hidden as well as initiate minimal data charges even when they are not in used. This time, the Galaxy Note 5 users has raised some questions as AT&T and Verizon disallows rooting on these devices. Doing so will completely shuts out the device instead of removing selected applications on the device.

Rooting is the ability to tweak the present applications on your device. While some devices only allow you to remove those that have been prompted by its manufacturers, rooting could do a lot more with those pre installed apps. Ram Motipally of Samsung Knox said, "In most of the US devices, if you root the device, the device won't even boot up; if it's AT&T or Verizon, it won't work."
According to iDigitalTimes, Samsung is very keen on the rooting process. Before, when a Samsung device is being rooted, the warranty of the device becomes void; however, for those who use the carrier Sprint and T-Mobile, the issue of rooting will simply disable the Samsung Pay app.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung S6 Edge Plus is offered by U.S. carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Best Buy. The only distinct feature of the Galaxy Note 5 from its previous predecessor has been the absence of the MicroSD slot as well as the integration of non removable battery. Everything else, particularly the software feature, has been mostly patterned from the Samsung galaxy S6, according to Android Authority. The Galaxy S6 Edge +, on the other hand, showed only the screen size which was larger and some few but insignificant software features that are also currently being integrated to the original Edge.
While the idea of the new flagship phones has been very similar to its predecessors, their designs however made the difference.
