Utah Jazz third-year point guard Trey Burke is preparing to step up his game with starter Danté Exum probably missing all of next season with a torn ACL.
Burke said his mindset is to keep getting better and is not worried about reclaiming his starting point guard role heading into training camp.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Burke had to compete with Raul Neto and Bryce Cotton for the right to replace Exum as starter.
There were also talks that the Jazz are looking to trade for Mario Chalmers of the Miami Heat to boost their talent in the position, Fox Sports reported.
Burke said he was as motivated as ever to prove himself as he prepared to start his third season with the Jazz.
Burke had exhibited flashes of his Michigan days over 146 games in the NBA, but he also struggled in missing too many shots and getting beat on defense.
Burke hit just 36.8 percent from the field and 31.8 percent from the 3-point range.
In fact, it was a major topic of conversation in an exit interview with general manager Dennis Lindsey and coach Quin Snyder.
Burke said it's all about gettng his "feel for the game"in order for the shots to fall, noting that his best games were when he let the game come to him and not just settle for what the opposing defense is allowing him.
He added that he's making an effort to penetrate the paint and to the defense collapse on him so he can pass to the open teammate.
Defensive effort was another offseason emphasis as he had trouble getting to the level of Exum as far as defensive contributions are concerned.
