Owners of LG G4 handsets have reason to rejoice as rumors indicate that the device is most likely to skip updating to Android Lollipop, and instead, shift to the Marshmallow version directly.
According to Neurogadget, rumors indicate that users of LG G4 will directly be upgraded to the new Marshmallow version; however, they will have to wait for a few months in order to receive the update. Reports claim that these rumors could might as well be true as there have been occasions in the past when LG has skipped updates for its devices. For instance, LG skipped the Android Kitkat update.

G4 is the latest in the G series offered by LG and the gadget already comes with Android 5.1 operating system, which means users are accustomed to using it with Android Lollipop.
While updating to Marshmallow may be great news, report indicates that it also has some cons as the Android Lollipop update is crucial as it helps fix a lot of bugs, security problems and is said to provide users with enhanced functionality. If the rumors turn out to be true, users will have to deal with the bugs for a longer time until they finally get upgraded to Marshmallow.
As of now, the Android M version is already available in Beta mode and developers are examining it thoroughly. Google expects to launch it officially by October. The report also indicates that the Android M update will be available for LG G2, LG G3 and LG G4 devices, Yibada confirmed.
LG G4 is being considered as one of the best devices by LG as it comes with a big screen and a host of other high end features. The device also comes with a leather back option, adding an element of style and sophistication to the overall aesthetic appearance.
