(Photo : Mortal Kombat X Official) Warner Bros Interactive announced that "Mortal Kombat X," which was first released in April for next generation consoles namely PS4, Xbox One and the PC, will no longer land to Sony's PS3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360.
In a recent announcement made by Ed Boon, "Mortal Kombat X" co-creator, he said that the DLC version of the game will soon be made available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
According to the Christian Post, there's still no specific date of release, but the announcement confirmed that there will be an updated version of the game. Rumors surrounded Ed Boon's Twitter post when included the posters of "Mortal Kombat X" characters mainly Tanya, Predator, Tremor and Jason Vorhees. Additional characters were also said to be expected on the new video game.

This latest from the "Mortal Kombat" series has been dubbed as the "Mortal Kombat X DLC" while its predecessor's DLC were named "Kombat Pack 1" and most probably, the latest will be the "Kombat Pack 2."
Meanwhile, fans can enjoy the video content of "Mortal Kombat X" on YouTube under the name Dynasty. According to the Christian Today, the "Kombat Pack 1" revealed a character in the shadows of Tremor, and this time, with the new and possible "Kombat Pack 2" coming, fans expect another set of new characters. Boon's tweet has been nothing but a teaser, but fans took it by speculating about the possibility of another "Mortal Kombat X" DLC.
Spawn may or may not be present in the new "Mortal Kombat X," but if it does, it would be a playable character. If the Christian Today is to be followed, according to them Image Comics has given NetherRealm permission to acquire and include Spawn in the new "Mortal Kombat X," but neither his appearance nor influence has been observed in some of the "Mortal Kombat X" expansions.
The famed video game is available on PC, Xbox One and Play Station 4. Whether there's going to be a "Kombat Pack 2" or not, one character remains in demand up to this moment and that is Smoke, a combatant that has been always up on the list of the most requested fighter.
While NetherRealm did not actually gave official statements, Boon's teaser tweets is more than enough to speculate another "Mortal Kombat" title.
