"Mortal Kombat X" co-creator and NetherRealm Creative Director Ed Boon teased Sektor and alien characters in the unannounced DLC pack of the game set for release on Oct. 27.

He fanned the flames with photos of an alien character from the original 1979 film and Sektor in his Twitter account.

The game creator has also confirmed that there was a negotiation that transpired to include Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Terminator" as a guest character in the expansion, but for some undisclosed reasons, this will not push through.

Daltoon Cooper of Game Rant provided some insights on this news. He said, "It's a bit of a bummer that we didn't get The Terminator as a DLC character for "Mortal Kombat X," but there's still some hope for the time-traveling murder machine to be added to the game in the future. Even though NetherRealm has satisfied the contents of the first season pass for "Mortal Kombat X," it seems that they are planning a Kombat Pack 2, which would presumably include four new DLC characters."

Boon has been actively responding to Twitter followers who are very adamant in scooping the latest updates for "Mortal Kombat X". In this microblogging site, he confirmed that God of War is unlikely return in the game. However, he did not directly answer a question pertaining to Marvel's Deadpool joining "Mortal Kombat X" DLC. He also hinted about a "Ninja called Firefox" possibly gracing future releases.

The tenth edition released in April is said to be the biggest launch in "Mortal Kombat" franchise history since its inception in 1992.

Boon tweeted in April:

"Thank you everyone for making Mortal Kombat X the biggest launch in MK history. You made the game FAR exceed our wildest expectations....!!"

"Mortal Kombat X" is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC and mobile devices.
