Reports indicate that Samsung Company is working on a tablet, codenamed Tahoe, which is literally big in size as it will boast an 18.4-inch full HD display screen and will be powered by a 7580 Samsung Exynos processor, Tech Times reported.

It is said that when it comes to moving the boundaries of the current norms on mobile devices, no firm has the ability to do it as often as Samsung does. The surprises that Samsung releases on the phone market gadgets with better and improved features started in 2011, with the introduction of the Galaxy Note. The first Galaxy Note that was introduced by Samsung had a 5.3-inch display, which the critics of tech panned and marked as DOA (death on arrival). The claim was that users would not be okay with carrying smartphones that are extremely large up to their ears.

The whole criticism turned out to be wrong as Samsung Galaxy Note phablets quickly became on top of the list of best-selling devices, and paved away for other rivaling firms such as Apple to introduce their own flagship.

The latest Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5, which had 5.7-inch screen displays, were released earlier this year in order to get a jumpstart on Apple's iPhone 6s Plus' sale that is expected to be announced on September 9.

In order to outdo the rumored release of Apple's 12.9-inch iPad Pro/Plus, reports indicate that Samsung is about to bring a giant 18.4-inch screen tablet.

The claims by the reports show that Samsung tablet that is upcoming, will have SM-T670 model number and its code name is Tahoe. "It will be android-based with a design to use in, offices, living rooms or schools," said Samsung.

Tahoe will sport a screen display of 18.4-inch TFT LCD type with a 1920 by 1080 resolution, powered by a 64-bit Samsung Exynos 7580 octa-core processor and will have 2 GB of RAM.
