MTV has finally announced the list of performers in the coming 2015 VMAs. The Weeknd, Demi Lovato, Pharrell Williams, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rock, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will all be joining host Miley Cyrus in the highly anticipated event.
According to Perez Hilton, MTV has released a partial list of the performers in the awards night. The publication noted that names of two more performers will be revealed this week.

It has also been confirmed that Kanye West will be receiving the Video Vanguard Award. Beyonce and Justin Timberlake won the said award back in 2014 and 2013, respectively.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life has recently reported that Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and Bruno will also be performing at the VMAs this year. Although it has yet to be confirmed if Swift will be performing, given her recent rift with Cyrus, the "1989" singer confirmed that the music video for "Wildest Dreams" will be released during the pre-show.
Swift has received the most nomination this year: Video of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Visual Effects for "Bad Blood", as well as Best Female Video and Best Pop Video for "Blank Space."
MTV VMAs host Cyrus recently called out Swift on the concept behind her "Bad Blood" music video. Speaking to Marie Claire, the Disney alum shared that she did not understand why Swift, given her reputation of being a feminist, would pit women against women.
"I don't get the violence revenge thing," she told the publication. "That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns."
Cyrus may think that she is a better role model than Swift, but the officials at the America's Parents Television Council believe otherwise.
According to Yahoo! News Australia, the organization has started a petition, begging advertisers to boycott the 2015 VMAs.The group reportedly claim that Cyrus would do something inappropriate onstage which would set as a bad example for kids.
