Kanye West to Receive 2015 Video Vanguard Award from MTV

Now its 45th year the festival is one largest music festivals in the world and this year features headline acts Florence and the Machine, Kanye West and The Who. The Festival, which Michael Eavis started in 1970 when several hundred hippies paid just £1, now attracts more than 175,000 people.
It has been confirmed and was already announced that the MTV Video Music Award will happen this Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015. The event will hosted by Miley Cyrus at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

As for one of the prestigious awards, the Video Vanguard goes to Kanye West for his performances, music contributions, innovative videos and visuals, art and sense of fashion.
Kanye West will be one of the most important guest of the night and his music will be highlighted at the event because he is this year's recipient of the Video Vanguard Award. He has been nominated more than 30 times but has only won 2 awards in 2005 and 2008.
The fans are expecting a highlighted performance from Kanye West since the past two winners of the Video vanguard - Beyonce and Justin Timberlake gave their perfect performance before.When Justin Timberlake won the Video vanguard award, he gave the audience retrorespective hits and even sang a few songs with his former boy band, 'NSync which also served as the group's mini-reunion. For Beyonce, she gave a 15 minute performance and sang the most popular songs from her self-titled album in 2014.
Kim Kardashian, Kanye's wife is expected to be at the MTV Video Music Awards night especially because his husband will be receiving the most important award of the night.
Miley Cyrus will be hosting the VMA's this year. But, no one knows yet if she will perform and sing on stage. Justin Bieber will also perform at the VMA's with his new song "What Do you Mean". The Weeknd will also perform "Can't Feel My Face".
The popstar, Taylor Swift is also nominated nine times at this year's VMA. Other nominees include, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Mark Ronson, Nicki Minaj, The Weekend, and Maroon 5.
The 2015 MTV VMA will air from the Microsoft Theatre in L.A. at 9 P.M. this Sunday.
