"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 7 will see Special Agent G. Callen go rogue as he hunts for his father who he thought was dead all along. CBS announced the plot of the seventh season of the hit spin-off series which will premiere in Sept.

A report posted in Design Trend narrates how executives say Callen will have a secret mission that will involve him trying to find his father. He defies Hetty's orders to stand down while he tries to keep Sam and the rest of his LA NCIS team unaware of his plans and location. It can be remembered that in the finale of season 6, Callen discovered that his father was not dead like Hetty would have him believe. Producer and writer Shane Brennan confirmed that Callen will be doing an investigation on his own and he will be at odds with Sam and Hetty as he chooses not to tell them what he is planning to do.

It was also reported in VcPost that lovers Marty Deeks and Agent Kensi's relationship will be tested in the upcoming season with hints of the couple being on the rocks and a possible breakup. There was also a revelation in the same post that Special Agent Tony Dinozzo will be back in LA to join the team in a new mission classified as top secret.

Meanwhile, according to a post in Variety, cast members of the "NCIS" spin-off show, Renee Felice Smith and Barret Foa accepted the Tapped Challenge thrown at them by Gina Rodriguez who is the star of the show "Jane the Virgin." Smith and Foa were joined by cast mates Eric Christian Olsen and Daniela Ruah. The group posted their video showing their tap dancing skills on Twitter and issued the same challenge to Michael Weatherly, Melissa Benoist, Erin Richards, and Troian Bellisario.
