"One could think we have six million reasons to be happy and that's it. We do, but that number is also a big responsibility and I want everyone to know that we, as a studio, realize that," Badowski wrote. "For us, all your high praise, all the positive reviews, are also an obligation -- we've made a really good game but there's still a long road ahead of us."
This feat brought the studio more than $63.3 million in net profit for the first half of the year.
Mid-August, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" releases the final wave of the 16 free DLCs. Game creators have showered players with free downloadable content since its launch.
Here is the complete list of all 16 "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" DLCs: "Temerian Armor Set," "Beard and Hairstyle Set," "New Quest - Contract: Missing Miners," "Alternative Look for Yennefer," "Nilfgaardian Armor Set," "Elite Crossbow Set," "New Quest - Fool's Gold," "Ballad Heroes' Neutral Gwent Card Set," "New Quest - Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear," "Alternative Look for Triss," "New Quest - Contract: Skellige's Most Wanted," "Skellige Armor Set," "Alternative Look for Ciri," "New Quest - Where the Cat and Wolf Play...," "New Finisher Animations and "NEW GAME +."
With glowing reviews and success within the gaming realm, The Witcher franchise will invade the music scene. The Witcher series soundtracks will soon arrive on Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play Music.
"We've prepared special extended versions of our compilations that contain never-before-published tracks and singles, and I sincerely hope that gamers use this opportunity to once again dive into the mesmerizing sounds of Geralt's world," said The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Music Director, Marcin Przybyłowicz.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" was released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on May 19. CD Projekt Red vows to support the blockbuster game with add-ons that include "Hearts of Stone" (launching in October) and "Blood and Wine" (launching in 2016).
