In CW's official Facebook page, the TV channel finally showed the one-sheet for Season 2, which featured the new Flash suit of Grant Gustin, played by actor Barry Allen. This time, "The Flash" has a new tagline that says, "It's go time."

For the past few days, The CW is actively releasing a series of promotional videos and its last video post on their FB account showed a teaser for the upcoming season of "The Flash." The trailer was posted last Aug. 24, Monday, and it featured Barry saying, "right on time," signifying that the DC TV series will arrive just in time to quench the thirst of the fans who have been waiting for the next installment of "The Flash" after its last airing on May.

Aside from the new poster and teaser, the creators of the much-awaited TV series disclosed that a newcomer will become the latest speedster in "The Flash." According to an exclusive scoop of TV Line, Violett Beane, who recently finished shooting an indie comedy film titled "Slash," will be joining as DC Comics accelerator Jesse Quick.

Accordin to TV line, in the upcoming TV series, Quick will be the alter-ego of Jesse Chambers. She is the daughter of Golden Age heroes Liberty Belle and Johnny Quick. Later on, she will adopt her mother's name since she also possesses her abilities. According to DC Comics data, Quick's super-speed powers can be accessed by speaking a special formula.

Before, the showrunners already revealed the other three speedsters: Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears), Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Zoom (Season 2's Big Bad). Jay will become Barry's mentor and he is bound to help the lead character in reaching his potential. On the other hand, Wally, known as the Kid Flash, will have a very close and interesting relationship with Barry and the whole team of superheroes.

Meanwhile, the Big Bad of the upcoming season, known as Zoom, will be "just scary as hell," as stated by the TV series' executive producer Gabrielle Stanton. The executive producer disclosed that the new villain is far from Barry's former nemesis. It can be noted though that the actor who will take up Zoom's role is yet to be revealed by the showrunners.

"The Flash" is set to return on Oct. 6, Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on The CW. However, until now, it is still unknown whether new speedsters will be added in the final lineup.
