Kim Kardashian-West revealed that she may be forced to undergo hysterectomy after giving birth to her second child.
"Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star said that she had many complications with her first pregnancy with daughter North and made it even harder to conceive the second time around. This is the reason why Kim is considering hysterectomy after she gives birth to their second child. If her condition placenta accreta returns, it might mean that she will no longer be able to bear more children, Daily Mail reported.

In an interview with C Magazine, Kim said that if her condition reappears, doctors are prepared to have her uterus removed which she said is a "little scary" for her. But the 34-year-old mom said that they are just going to take it day by day and see how the delivery process goes.
Placenta accreta is a condition where the placenta grows too deep in the uterine wall. This can cause severe blood loss after delivery. It can also result to an early C-section which is then followed by the removal of the uterus called hysterectomy.
Kim said that she and Kanye endured a "long road" just to get pregnant with their son. The reality star said that she had to do little operations to address the issue of placenta accreta.
"That created a little hole in my uterus, which I think made it really tough to get pregnant again," Kim said. "I would go to the doctor in Beverly Hills every day at five in the morning to get tested to see if I was ovulating."
Kim said that she tried everything just to get pregnant. The star added that she did acupuncture and hired a nutritionist to get healthier, Hollywood Life reported.
Kardashian admitted that being a mother did change her career. She confessed that motherhood taught her how to prioritize.
"It has taught me how to prioritize. And I was forced to take a break for awhile. I never liked downtime, but I decided I enjoy it-that's when the fun ideas come about," Kim said. "When I was brainstorming on my maternity leave, that's when one of my greatest projects, the video game, came about. And that's also when the book concept came."
