Following Zayn Malik's departure from the famous and successful boy group, One Direction, seems like Simon Cowell is not happy to hear where the other One Direction members are heading.

Six weeks ago, Zayn Malik announced that he will be splitting up with One Direction and that he will be launching his first solo album soon. However, things did not work out for his solo career so smoothly since he had a problem with his supposed to be new producer, Naughty Boy.

As for 1D, One Direction is planning to take a break for a year after their concert tours, so they can do focus on other projects aside from singing.

It seems like Simon Cowell, who is one of the main reasons why One Direction became successful in the first place is not happy with the decisions of the boys, especially with their posts on Twitter.

"I don't like this Twitter stuff, it's kind of like 'you are always going to regret what you send out on Twitter'. With Zayn, I think he has got to put a sense of perspective back in his life. You had a really great opportunity, you decided for whatever reason that you didn't want to do it anymore. Just maybe keep quiet for a while, make a great record and enjoy life. Just that," Simon said in an interview.

Simon stated that he has not spoken with Zayn Malik since his decision of going solo was made. He also revealed that he will never let Zayn compete with One Direction or allow him to be in the same music company or producer.

Luckily for Zayn, he had signed up his solo contract with RCA Records and Turn First Artist Management. His fans are hoping that he will also be successful as a solo artist. As for One Direction, Simon plans to have them perform at the finals of "X Factor" before they take a break.
