Michael Fassbender will be playing the role of Callum Lynch, and if the "Assassin's Creed" gamers are confused on who that character is, Yahoo News reports that Lynch is a totally unique character, so that the movie adaptation will be more original, and not fully based on the game itself.

The target theatrical release as of today is Dec. 2016 under a working title of "Assassin's Creed".

Also, the fact that nobody among the gamers have an idea on who Callum Lynch is has circulated a lot of talks about the upcoming movie; something that the producers want.

The movie will not be doing any basis on the games that are out in the market. However, new challenges for new characters will be presented. In the movie adaptation, Fassbender's character Callum Lynch, stumbled upon the knowledge of him being a descendant of Aguilar, one of the finest and most feared assassins of 15th century Spain.

The Animus, a technological device that permits people to experience and relive their "genetic ancestry" revealed the full history of Aguilar to Callum Lynch. From that device, Lynch gains a vast knowledge on how to oppose a particular evil company in the modern world. Lynch also learns that the Knights Templar is actually oppressive.

According to VC Post, the production for the movie will begin on the 31st of Aug. The scenes will possibly be in Spain, Malta, and London.

Marion Cotillard, who was a part of "The Dark Knight Rises" will also be in the "Assassin's Creed" movie. Justin Kurzel will be directing the movie. The developer of the game, Ubisoft, will also be producing the movie. Ubisoft's movie company, Ubisoft Motion Pictures has begun generating massive publicity to stir the interest of the gamers into watching the movie.
