Kanye West is famous for his weird antics and the MTV VMAs over the weekend was no exception. The rapper announced that he will run for presidency in 2020, but no one knows for sure whether his statement is valid or not.
Kanye West definitely knows how to stir up his audience. From his stage confrontation with Taylor Swift way back, he's back in the spotlight again as he announced that he will run for presidency in 2020.

According to The Guardian, the rapper revealed his plans to run for presidency in America in 2020 during the MTV Video Music Award's Night that took place over the weekend in Los Angeles.
His said announcement came after he was given the show's highest award which was the Video Vanguard award. This was presented by Taylor Swift who bagged four of the nine awards she was nominated for.
Kanye West accepted his award and did a ten-minute speech that included basketball stadiums, award shows, grocery stores, Sydney Morning Herald reported. But before summing up his speech, the rapper made his political ambitions clear.
"And yes, as you probably could've guessed in this moment, I've decided in 2020 to run for president," West said.
As far as most people are concerned, nobody knows whether to take this kind of announcement seriously or not. Kanye has made speeches before that didn't actually make sense, but maybe this one he got a little bit carried away or maybe he was after all serious.
In an article by Jezebel, the rapper also compared himself to Christ which was not the first time.
But one thing is for sure, Kanye have resolved his issues with Taylor Swift regarding their past conflict. But a new feud brewed between Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj.
The "Anaconda" singer apparently didn't appreciate when Cyrus made comments that Minaj is "not too kind and not very polite."
So when Nicki won an award for her music video "Anaconda," the singer fired back at Miley who was at a nearby stage.
"And now back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press - Miley, what's good?" the singer said.
