After having gone through four editions, the "American Horror Story" is about to come with its fifth installment in Oct. John Landgraf, the FX president has said that this new installment would bring a huge reinvention and new dimension to the series.

The things would start off with a noticeable difference because the leading lady of the show Jessica Lange won't be seen returning. Other noticeable changes in this installment of AHS-Hotel are still to be revealed, but the teasers for the show have been coming up.

The new season AHS-Hotel is inspired by Top-Hat, the 1935 comedy musical. The story of the season ties to Los Angeles and therefore the production of the show will be done in this city.

Ryan Murphy is quite engaged doing the rounds for the American Horror Story promotion and has already started discussing about what might be in store. Murphy has told American Weekly that the show might see two installments in 2016, one for the fall and one for the spring, but the decision is still to be finalized.

Murphy further said that the thought of coming up with two seasons in 2016 was invited by the changes in the writer's pit. He said that the writers are doing something new with the group like they've never done before. Murphy also confirmed that Jessica has not been gone forever and it's only a mix of things that requires some characters to leave the show. The star is eager to come back and the writers will surely come up with something to make that possible. So with the changes going on, both in terms of the characters, and in terms of the reinvention of the series, AHS-Hotel will surely offer something new for the fans. So fans better keep their fingers crossed.
