Rock band Foo Fighters announced Monday the track list and other details of its new studio album, "Sonic Highways."
Last week, the band teased fans with an eight-second video clip of a man, possibly Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl, who was growling the phrase, "All rise."
Now, Foo Fighters premiered a relatively longer clip of Grohl getting tattooed with an infinity symbol and the words, "In the end, we all come from what's come before."

Alongside the clip, Foo Fighters also revealed the track list for the band's eighth studio album on its website. The album, which the band co-produced with Butch Vig, will feature eight songs.
A detail worth mentioning is that Grohl and the rest of the Los Angeles-based band has taken the number eight as the central theme for their latest studio album. Incidentally, the making of the album will be chronicled in an eight-episode HBO series that will premiere on Oct. 17.
"Sonic Highway's" 180-gram vinyl edition will also feature several covers that will reflect each of the eight cities - Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C. - where the band recorded the album.
In a statement, Grohl said "Sonic Highways" still features the classic Foo Fighters sound, but with "something deeper and more musical" element involved. The band's front man said Foo Fighters drew its inspiration for the album from the cities and the people they met, who influenced them "to stretch out and explore new territory."
The track list of the 44-minute album will include the songs "Something from Nothing," "Feast and the Famine," "Congregation," "What Did I Do?/God as My Witness" and "Outside."
Rounding up the tracks in the new record are the songs "In the Clear," "Subterranean" and "I Am a River."
"Sonic Highways" is scheduled to hit the record stores on Nov. 10. Fans can preorder the album on the Foo Fighters' online store.
