"Fast and Furious 8" is set to be released on April 14, 2017. Vin Diesel has made things even more mystifying for the fans, by naming the 8^th installment, Fast 8.

After the high ranking "Fast and Furious 7" received making it the highest grossing movie earlier this year, fans can't wait for Fast 8 to hit the screens. Though the movie is set out for April 2017, there are a lot of flying rumors and bulletin on the direction.

Justin Lin might be directing Fast 8. Justin has directed several installments of "The Fast and Furious" series but decided to step down for Fast and Furious 7. Moritz has stated that the team is focusing on putting a great screenplay and plot for this one.

O'Connor's CGI's version will not be present in Fast 8. Though his character was not killed in Fast and Furious 7 as expected, it was indicated that he's moving on with his life in the Franchise. After Paul Walker's death, the crew dedicated this movie to him.

"Paul used to say that 8 was guaranteed and, in some ways, when your brother guarantees something, you have to make sure it comes to pass," Diesel said. "So, if fate has it -- fate, F8 -- then you'll get it. Furious 7 was for Paul; 8 is from Paul."

There are speculations that there will be a new O'Connor brother. Cody and Caleb Walker, Paul Walker's brothers helped out in shooting some of the scenes involving Brian's character. Now, there is a buzz that fans might see Cody as Brian's younger brother.

Eva Mendes might be returning as agent Monica Fuentes. She was a leading character in 2 Fast 2 Furious and made some appearances in Fast and Furious Five. Now, she might be paired up with the crew as an upcoming villain in New York. Helen Mirren and Dwayne Johnson are rumored to be making re-appearances as well.
