Parents are obviously quite protective when it comes to the safety of their children, and even more when they fear that their children might be in some danger. For Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish, the threats seem to be all real after the VMAs spat that took place between Nicki Minaj and Miley. They now have major concerns over the issue.

Things have turned out to be intense following the spat between Miley and Nicki at VMAs, but they have not reached to a level of violence, but still, this has not stopped Miley's parent to be concerned as sources reveal that the fear something might happen. Though the broadcast of VMAs took place on Aug. 30, the war game between the two rages on till date. Nicki has still been fuming about her fight and she also seems to be angry over her friend Drake, who is reportedly siding with Miley over the issue.
Now that the feud is now raging at a full pace, the parents of Miley are evidently concerned that this might bring harm to their child. Though it has been a word war, Miley's parents fear that Nicki might turn to violence.
The source added that Miley does not seem to so concerned or fearful about the issue, but the parents are. She is handling it without fear and has said that Nicki revealed her mean nature at the awards. Billy and Tish have expressed that they feel proud about how their daughter dealt with the whole issue, but this does not mean that they stop worrying.
Well, when children enter into a fight with someone who is more powerful and older, it is natural for the parents to fear. But it seems highly unlikely that Nicki might turn to violence.
