Neelam Gill and Zayn Malik were reportedly linked in a romantic relation back in Aug. Now, a new interview of the Burberry model, Neelam Gill, has come to the scene and she was reported to have been talking quite enthusiastically about him back in April.

Well based on the reports, can this be construed as a sign that both are getting closer. They were only recently linked, but there was no actual evidence of the relationship. Now with this interview from Neelam, it seems that the two are quite closer than what the fans actually thought.

The ex-One direction star is also reported to have a thing for her as the girl is reportedly flying to meet Zayn in Los Angles where the star is working on his first solo album. Things, however are seem to be getting along at a good pace, as the pair actually became friends during their first meeting in March and were reported to have kicked off since then. It was in April this year at the Asian awards when Neelam talked about meeting with the star. Zayn was being given an award for his contribution towards music.

"Zayn's a nice guy, I'm happy he's being honored tonight and I think it will be a great night," stated Neelam, adding, "I can relate to him because we've both been thrown into the industry and I can only imagine how crazy it's been for him. As long as he's happy, I respect that. Whatever he does I'm sure he'll be successful, he's really talented and he's a good guy."

Neelam was also asked about whether she considers that Zayn has taken the right step when he left the band. She replied that she completely respects his decision. With Neelam by Zayn's side, some fans seem to think that the pair make for a great couple.
