Recently, a trailer video has been released for "Fifty Shades Darker" where Jamie Dornan who plays the character of Christian Grey was putting on his black suit and a mask.Although the teaser of the movie has been viewed a million times, researchers said that it might not beat the hype of the first movie, "Fifty Shades Of Grey" which was released earlier this year. According to reports, the movie might not be as good as the first one because it will not be written by the first author and will be having a new director too. Many fans are wondering how Johnson feels about working with a new set of staff for the upcoming sequel.
As for the lead female star, Johnson was wearing a black dress with high slit on the red carpet at the "Being The Protagonist Party" which was hosted By L'Uomo Vogue during the Venice Film Festival 2015 last Saturday, Sept. 5 in Venice, Italy. At the event, Johnson was asked how it felt like to be working with the film's new director.
"It's quite exciting," the actress told an insider from EmpireOnline. "There was a moment of being afraid, because I didn't know what it was going to be like. I had an experience with Sam [Taylor-Johnson] and then that all went away. Now I'm excited. I think James is a talented filmmaker. How often do you get to reconvene with the same people and have a different spin?"
The actress was also asked if she already met the new director and if his approach will be different from Taylor-Johnson's.
"I have. You'll just have to see when the movie comes out..." answered Johnson.
The filming of the upcoming sequel will begin in early 2016 and the producers of the movie will be releasing it by the next year. The upcoming movie will be written by Niall Leonard, the husband of the book's author E.L. James. "Fifty Shades Darker" will be released in cinemas in Feb. 10, 2017 which has been given R-21 Rating. It will then be followed by the third sequel entitled, "Fifty Shades Freed", which will be released by Feb. 9, 2018.
