New Yorkers are now preparing for their most extravagant clothing to wear at the most awaited event of the month - the New York Fashion Week. Numerous celebrities, designers, and fashion followers will be expected to attend the most awaited and expensive fashion week event.

Most of the events listed below are private and for invitation-only, unless noted for the public.

Sept. 15
Croatian Fashion Invasion

Three fashion designers from Croatia named, Igor Dobranic; Zoran Mrcos and Ogi Antunac, and Andrijani Subotic Pjajcik of Etna Maar will be hosting a meet-and-greet event at the Downtown Showroom.

Movie Premiere of Jeremy Scott
The movie director, Vlad Yudin, will be premiering a film to show the ups and downs of his career called, "Jeremy Scott: The People's Designer" at The Paris Theatre on Sept. 15.

Sept. 16
A Brand New DKNY Collection

The new DKNY will be launching its debut with clothings by the fashion designers, Maxwell Osborne of Public School and Dao-Yi Chow. The location is not yet known.

The Adam Levine Show
It seems like the lead vocalist of Maroon 5 is out for some new challenges and new business as he will be joining this year's New York Fashion event with his own styles and collection. Adam Levine will be showcasing his Kmart collection in a runway show located at Kia Style360.

Harper's Bazaar Icons
The editors and producers of Harper's Bazaar Icons will be joining the New York Fashion Week Event for the second time. Katy Perry will be part of this event.

Sept. 17
Macy's On The Runway

This will be the department store's "biggest fashion show" in the history. The fashion show will be having 150 looks and styles on their 60 models. The event will be held at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden.

Verge: Queer New York
The event which will showcase different looks and styles from 8 fashion designers will be open to the fashion followers and will be produced by style Web site DapperQ at the Brooklyn Museum.
