Nintendo has been one of the most valued gaming consoles worldwide, and while they may have been strict about how they want their gaming concepts to play, the recent launching of the "Super Mario Maker" may have been the one move by its developer that contradicts the principles of the game.
In a review by Kotaku, the "Super Mario Maker" will hand you 10 lives to complete a challenges before you can create your own levels and personalized your character. The two modules of the "Super Mario Maker" include The Creation Suite wherein you can design and create your own levels. The Play Hub is a place where you can play on other levels created by your fellow players.

The Verge, however, considered the "Super Mario Maker" as an excellent choice for Wii U that no one can find in any other gaming consoles. How it fits the gamepad and the excitement it gives to diehard fans of "Super Mario" is just incredible. Take note that the Mario Maker is not an actual game, rather, it is a tool that lets you personalize and create levels within the game other than the one's Nintendo has already integrated. Some of the features that you can alter include Level style, Bowser himself and moving platforms. The random tools available for the creation of Mario are not accessible at all times. You just need to keep playing and unlock tools that you can eventually use.
First time users of the Super Mario Maker may find the tools very confusing as well as coercive, but once you get around the bits and pieces of creating one, everything will be downhill. There are no goals to achieve other than creating your own level, something that Kotaku finds ineffective considering how Nintendo has been very formal and creative when it comes to their gaming concept.
According to IGN, once you have created a level, you can upload it and see how it will fare among other players. You can also choose the most popular level to play with.
