The former creators of the much-loved "Angry Birds" game are creating a new game app -- and they're promising it's going to be a slug fest.
Seriously, a startup game company created by former Rovio executives Andrew Stalbow and Petri Järvilehto is set to release its first game app entitled "Best Fiends."

The two are hoping the app will be as popular as the "Angry Birds" franchise.
Some designers from Fox, Disney and Remedy will also be joining the team in developing the new game, "Best Fiends."
"Best Fiends" will be free on mobile devices, but will require in-app purchases for certain rewards and game money.
The world to be featured in "Best Fiends" is the land of Minutia inhabited by the devious Slugs of Doom and creatures like dung beetles, wasps and lizards.
The creepy crawlies have to fend off the slugs and with each level, characters gain new strengths.
Järvilehto, Creative Director of Seriously, shared that the fantasy world is actually inspired by real-world events. He said his own neighborhood in Finland suffered through a Spanish slug infestation for quite a while.
"The conflict of small critters defending and fighting against invading slugs was something that was literally close to home," he added.
He then talked about his favorite character in the game named Temper. Temper was created as a mite donning a superhero costume. Järvilehto refers to him as the hero of "Best Fiends."
Järvilehto said that the slugs really aren't evil, but an unknown force drives them to do devious things.
The objective of the game is for the heroes to find their way to Mount Boom where all secrets lie.
"We want to differentiate ourselves by building something that feels Hollywood-level creative and original, said Stalbow, CEO of Seriously.
"We've taken everything we've learned along the way and are trying to crystallize it."
"Best Fiends" is scheduled for release in October.
