LG has recently jumped on the software updates and its "G" series are getting the most of these ever changing software upgrades.
According to the Venture Capitalist Post, LG may finally render the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software to their LG G3 and LG G4 series; however, the LG G2 will not be included limiting the model to the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 upgrade. The newest Android software has been integrated to the Nexus series particularly the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and the Nexus Player. While LG is said to integrate the latest of the Android software, news says that it will start integrating it to its devices by 2016; however, the LG G4 is rumored to take on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow by the end of 2015.

Meanwhile, users may or may not be impressed by the fact that LG's high end phones still carry the removable battery feature most smartphones don't have now. Whether they plan to make this as a trademark or mainly sees it as a more practical way to suit the phone, according to GSMarena, they are taking after Samsung who already chose to incorporate the sealed cells including that of their Samsung Galaxy Note 5. In a post by Phone Arena, they take a quick look at what the LG G4 may look like during its launching and they are impressed by its leather back, something that is unique and not common to its counterparts.
The LG G4 has been lauded for its practical and unassuming back leather cover. Shying away from the sleek and more firm concept of the new generation flagship phones, the LG G4 remains subtly cased with its ever practical easy grip back.
Slipping under the cover, the LG G4 is equipped with a 5.5-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 resolution display. It carries through a 16Mp camera with a 3GB random Access Memory along with a 3,000mAH removable battery. The LG G4 is also set to release with various color options such as leather Black, White, Gold, Gray, leather Brown and leather Red.
