It has been rumored that Taylor Swift might eventually appear on "Law & Order: SVU". Is it really possible that Taylor Swift will appear at the season 17 of the Law & Order: SVU"?

Taylor Swift has always been vocal of her love for the show. AV Club has said that Swift is a devoted fan of the show's leading lady, Manhattan police sergeant Olivia Benson, played by Mariska Hargitay. To prove the point even further, Swift has named her pet cat after the character in "Law & Order: SVU".

Swift also invited Mariska Hargitay to join her "Bad Blood" music video, which attained the coveted award of Video of the Year at this year's Video Music Awards. KJRH News revealed that pop superstar Taylor Swift has been offered the opportunity to make a guest appearance alongside her TV idol Mariska Hargitay in her favorite crime drama series," Law & Order: SVU".

It seems that Hargitay is returning the favor since it's Taylor Swift's turn to appear in her favorite show. Hargitay stated to news show Entertainment Tonight, "We talked about it. We're going to wait until the end of (Swift's current) tour to see how it goes. But it's in the air."

However, it might have to wait since Swift is currently busy on the road for her World Tour that will end until 12 December of this year. The tour will end in Melbourne, Australia.

This is not the first TV series appearance nor movie appearance of the pop singer. She has appeared in Jeff Bridges film "The Giver" and 2010 romantic comedy "Valentine's Day". She also had minimal roles on TV series such as "New Girl" in 2013 and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" in 2009.

Taylor Swift's appearance on "Law & Order: SVU" will mark another mark for her acting career and her dream of being in the TV series that she had personally grown to love and admired.
