Google started implementing stricter rules on Adblock users by restricting the app and forces the user to watch full length ads on a certain YouTube video.
According to Geek.com, the increasing trend of users who uses the Ad-blocking app has immensely affected websites that rely on advertisement revenue. This is why despite their efforts to encourage viewers to support the ads, Google is implementing rather stricter rule on the said app, banning the use of Adblocks. Recently, several users noticed how they weren't able to skip or ignore an ad and were forced to watch the full length videos; this is the result of Google's metal fist against Adblockers.

Despite efforts of users to try different ways to enable the Adblocks, Google is still able to put on full length advertisement on websites. If that doesn't post much nuisance to viewers, there's added problem to the issue and this is the fact that viewers cannot skip the full length ads on top of not being able to disable them. According to Neowin, Google can track down those who have enabled the Adblocker, which means they will have to implement the full length videos on their platforms without the option to skip.
For users to have full access on the sites they want to see without having problems with full length videos, Google encourages them to refrain from blocking the ads for them to be able to skip or close them at any moment. This move by Google has significant effect to website owners because of their ability to gain revenue from these ads. The issue of Adblocks has been a long time problem of creators and entrepreneurs online and the development of Adblock apps have made the situation even worse. Now, Google is taking a step forward in helping them by merely bypassing the Adblock and insists on full length videos especially on YouTube.
Nevertheless, these changes have only been made available to users who browse using chrome and are also being experience by some users. Majority of chrome users still enjoy the Adblock app, but will eventually experience the same thing should Google strengthen their campaign against Adblocking.
