Tertiary Vocational Education Students Has Advantages in Job Seeking

According to a report, it is said that the employment rate of graduates from tertiary vocational education is around 90.4% and 83% students are satisfied with their schools. On July 16th, "The News Conference of Tertiary Vocational Education Talent Training Program of 2013" was held in Beijing, showing that the advantages of the graduates from these schools.

The Conference was performed by the president of the National Tertiary Vocational Education and the authorized Shanghai Education Academic Institution and xxx Research Specialists Groups together. The research applied the American measurements such as employment rate, salary, major related situation, self-employment business, and the school satisfaction. The target was the graduates from 2009, 2011, and 2012 of 31 provinces around the country.
Double Salary Three Years After the Graduation
According to the report, the employment rate of 2012 graduates is 90.4%, similar to the undergraduates as 91.5%. 64% of the students worked in the related areas, 1 percent higher than the 2011. The students graduated in 2009 has the capacity to earn the average salary of 4,160 Yuan three years after the graduation, 2,270 higher than the time they earned half year after the graduation, and the rise is about 120%. 56% of the students have promotions within three years after the graduation, a little higher than the rate for the four-year graduate which is about 52%.
Advantages and Challenges
It has been reported for years that the undergraduates cannot find a job when they finish the study. The situation is especially worse this year. However, the employment rate for the tertiary vocational education is reversed, climbing rather than dropping down. The president of the Career Education and Further Education Bureau said that the highest employment rate falls into the university of "985" project, and the second highest is from the tertiary vocational education. Wang Boqing explained that the vocational schools have advantages as they know the cities better and have matching courses for the local industrials. The students from the vocational schools will not expect too much at the first time when they look for the job, and it makes them easier to adapt the community. It is also the challenge that there are some challenges for the vocational schools. The sequence of the federal regulations will impact the schools and it takes some time to show the public how the federal interaction really works.
