A 21.5-inch display clad Apple iMac bundled with a killer 4K screen resolution is gearing up to be released as early as next week.
According to a new report from International Business Times, the upcoming iMac will be unveiled on Tuesday, Oct. 13. It will have a 4K display that guarantees impressive viewing experience. It will hit the stores on the same day of announcement since there are reports that a large number of the iMac are expected to be available in November.

It will be similar to a replica of the current generation of non-4K iMac -- talikng about its exterior. An elevated screen of 4,096 x 2,304 pixels resolution with faster graphic cards is also seen. Thus, Cnet reported that iMac will be loaded with the new Operating System X El Capitan, which is the latest version of Apple's OS X desktop software with no expectation on any discernible difference in terms of design.
Going on sale ahead of the iPad Pro, the company aims to bring a high-resolution 4K screen into a smaller desktop machine. A slew of products during Apple's annual iPhone event last month were launched by Apple -- making not all devices its agenda. These include the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus as well as 13-inch iPad Pro tablet.
Same as the 5K display clad iMac released in 2014, iMac will be priced marginally higher than the non-4K models. It may lack the buzz of Apple's iPhone franchise yet will continue to be a core part of the Cupertino, California, which is the company's product portfolio.
A new Magic Mouse 2 with Force Touch integration will be released by Apple together with a brand new Bluetooth Keyboard and improved battery life. No confirmation is available yet to assure whether the aforementioned accessories are going to be launched alongside the much-awaited iMac.
The growth of Apple's Mac business still continues in contrast to the broader, more sluggish PC market. Its Surface Book was announced last Tuesday with a swath of other Windows 10 products.
