A man went on a tirade on in Shanghai's No. 8 metro on Saturday morning after being reprimanded for spitting in the train.

A woman initially criticized the man for spitting in the train. Without feeling guilty, he becomes agitated and swears at the woman. An elder man siting nearby him tries to persuade him to stop being rude.  Instead, the man seems to lose his mind and shout at several other passengers.

Finally, his behavior apparently provokes widespread anger in the metro. One passenger then confronts him and beats him up.
