Actress Anna Kendrick is clearing up the "hilarious" confusion brought about by her alleged fling with Alfie Allen.

On Wednesday, the 29-year-old actress took to her Twitter account to deny rumors that she is dating the "Game of Thrones" star.

In addition, the "Pitch Perfect" star also apologized to Allen over the confusion.

"Ahh, this has been hilarious and all but, nope. My apologies to Mr. Allen, who must equally confused :)" Kendrick posted on her Twitter account.

Kendrick's response came in the heels of reports that she and the British actor were seen enjoying a date in Las Vegas last week. Witnesses told the New York Post the two stars had drinks together at "a dark table" at SushiSamba.

Allen, who is the younger brother of British singer Lily Allen, ended his relationship with actress Jaime Winstone in July. Kendrick, on the other hand, hasn't been seen dating anyone in public since she broke things off with director and producer Edgar Wright last year after more than four years of being together.

In July, the "Twilight" actress admitted to Elle magazine that she hasn't been "hit on" since 2009. In fact, Kendrick said the last time a man flirted with her was during the "Up in the Air" days, when she was 23 years old. Kendrick earned an Oscar nomination for her acting in the movie, in which she starred opposite George Clooney.

The actress is keeping busy at the moment with her any acting and singing projects, which included the sequel to the hit movie "Pitch Perfect," in which she plays a college freshman who joins a capella group in school.

Kendrick's hit song, "Cups," which she recorded for the movie's soundtrack, was on Billboard's Hot 100 for 44 weeks in 2013.
