Derrick Rose led the charge as Chicago Bulls bounced back from their loss to Charlotte Hornets earlier this week with a victory over Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. Many agree that this has been one of the best performances of the Bulls' point guard, who has suffered a series of injuries over the past few years.

Rose scored 29 points as the Bulls posted a 104-98 win over Oklahoma City Thunder at United Center, Chicago, Illinois. Although Thunder's Kevin Durant scored more points than Rose on the night - 33 - it was the Bulls No 1. that captivated fans with his spectacular play in the last few minutes of the game.
The 27-year-old, who is still wearing a face mask after surgery on his left orbital bone following a pre-season injury, showed sparks of brilliance throughout the encounter as he defended solidly against Durant. But it was in the final quarter of the game that Rose really revved things up - scoring 10 points to put the Bulls six points above Oklahoma City Thunder.
It remains to be seen if Rose will maintain the same aggression for the rest of the season. The Bulls have their next game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, Nov. 7. The team has won four out of six games in a row and Rose's resurgence could help them maintain and improve on this record.
Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg praised Rose for his performance after the game. He noted that the night would go a long way to improve Rose's confidence.
Rose was cautious not to overrate his performance, however. He told the press after the game that "There's going to be ups and downs. Just because it's a high right now, it's not no relief."
