French Montana recently sat down with The Daily News to talk about Khloe Kardashian, his girlfriend and star of his new music video "Don't Panic".

"Don't Panic" is the first music video Kardashian has ever appeared in.

"That's my Koko," the rapper affectionately said. "She's a real cool down to earth person. I don't think a lot of people get to meet her to find that out."

Kardashian appears in both Montana's music video and single cover.

Along with other talents, the reality star dons a mask to hide her identity. A few minutes into the video, Kardashian removes her mask.

The "Ain't Worried About Nothin'" singer isn't too worried about other people spreading rumors that he is only with the reality star to progress his career. He denies that he's in it for the fame, saying that Kardashian is the funniest person he's ever met.

He said being in the limelight makes one a target for critics and haters and that people have misjudged Kardashian and her family.

"I feel like once you get to know them, they're really like (some) of the dopest people ever," he shared.

The 29-year old Moroccan rapper also shared a little about his background. He said when he moved from Casablanca to the Bronx in his teens, he didn't know a word of English. Montana only knew how to speak Arabic and French but learned English by growing up with the culture in New York.

Montana also shared that one of the biggest musical influences in his life is no other than his mentor, Sean "Diddy" Combs. The rapper sees Combs as not only his idol, but his big brother.

Although Montana's music career is on the rise, he said he doesn't really plan things, adding, "When you making plans God is laughing."

He said all he is trying to do is his best.
