Man in Stolen Car 'Bulldozes' Through People on the Street; 2 Killed, 8 Injured

A 27-year-old man identified as Liao stole a vehicle and caused a series of accidents in an urban part of Shanghai on Monday.
At least one person was killed at the site of the accident. One female reportedly died after being transported to the hospital. Among the eight injured, one person has been diagnosed with serious head injury.

"The driver is crazy! He drives the cars like driving a bulldozer." witnesses told a reporter for Xinmin Website.
A kindergarten is reportedly located near the scene of the accident and many parents had come to pick up their children at the time the car crash occured.
"For protecting her kid, a mother was knocked down by the drivera" a witness said.
After intially hitting some pedestrians, the driver did not stop. He continued to drive the stolen car and knocked down several people. The driver finally had to stop after a rear-end collision with a taxi.
So far, the driver has been arrested by local police for stealing the vehicle and the fatal crashes.
