13^th July, the government published the announcement that they decide to follow citizen's opinion and won't pass the nuclear project. This means the one year preparation is just a failure.

Officers said this huge project can bring lots of benefits for citizen and bring huge profits to government.

Heshan return to peaceful life as before after government published the announcement. The Lianzhu Village in Heshan has around 160 people. This is the center of nuclear project. For the last two months, they were not allowed to do any agriculture thing. But now lots of them start to do this again after the cancellation of the project. The people in this village told us that they are really to move to other place last month. Government promised them they can get 50,000 Yuan if they sign the contract to agree moving out. Most of them signed but haven't get the money.

From the data of Heshan, the Heshan government already used 0.144 billion Yuan for the support of the project this year, and most of the money is used for make up citizen. But citizen said that they didn't get the money.

We can see that except atmosphere tower, there's no other work.

Through the interview we found out that even though all people know this event, few can tell the details. The opponents are not citizen but some companies. They are afraid people will move out this area and this is bad for their business.

This was also support by officers. They said after government have discussion with citizen and explain to them, they agree to move out of this area. So the true " pressure" is from the companies and industries.
