Square Enix's follow-up on Tomb Raider's reboot hit action will only be available exclusively for Xbox One.
During Tomb Raider's press event at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Microsoft said that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released during the 2015 holiday season without versions for PC or the PS4.

The first Tomb Raider game was released in 2013 for Xbox 360, personal computers and Playstation 3.
Darrell Gallagher, Tomb Raider developer, defended Microsoft's decision to just stick with one platform for the launching of Tomb Raider follow up.
"We know they will get behind this game more than any support we have had from them in the past - we believe this will be a step to really forging the Tomb Raider brand as one of the biggest in gaming, with the help, belief and backing of a major partner like Microsoft," Gallagher said.
This is a major move for Microsoft, which is trying to catch -p with Sony's PlayStation 4.
Currently, Sony is the leading company in video game console sales.
Gallagher is trying to reassure PC and Playstation 4 owners that Microsoft has not abandoned other platforms for launching the game.
He said those are great game platforms with great partners and helpful communities.
"We have Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris coming to those platforms this December, and Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition is available on PS4," said Gallagher.
Microsoft did not comment if the exclusivity of the game will be permanent or temporary
