Thanks to State Department's new facial recognition technology, the FBI was able to identify and capture a 14-year fugitive who had been wanted for molesting a 12-year-old boy in Nepal.
Now 47-years-old, former juggling star Neil Stammer never thought he could get caught after he kidnapped and raped a young boy in 1999.

Stammer, owner of Rob's Magic and Juggling Shop in New Mexico, had allegedly fled the country after posting bail and never showing up for his arraignment.
To his advantage, Stammer spoke a dozen of different languages and had travelled extensively.
The FBI told media that given Stammer's experience as a traveler and with his language aptitudes, the perpetrator had the ability to hide anywhere in the world.
Without much to work with, the Stammer case went cold.
Meanwhile, FBI's fugitive coordinator Russ Wilson re-opened Stammer's case and created a new 'wanted' poster for him in January.
In June, security services implemented a new facial recognition system which detects passport fraud.
The software was tested on FBI's wanted posters, coming up positive and revealed a match for Stammer who was hidden under the name Kevin Hodges.
According to reports, the face on the poster matched that of a passport photo of someone with a different name.
Further probe then led authorities to Nepal where Stammer had been regularly visiting the U.S. embassy to renew his tourist visa under the false name.
After the FBI coordinated with the government of Nepal, the pedophile was captured and will finally be forced to face justice.
The 14-year fugitive pleaded not guilty to the rape and kidnapping charges filed against him stemming from the incident with the 12-year-old boy.
However, three more reported victims have come forward with more accusations of abuse against the former juggler.
He is now detained in Bernalillo County Jail without any bail privilege.
